IT'S OKAY TO LEAVE PEOPLE BEHIND
It is easy to forget that Jesus did not come to unite, but to separate (Matt 10:35; Luke 12:53). He did not come so we can create fellowship with one another, he came so we could step into the fullness of who he created us to be and create His kingdom upon the earth. Yes, we have to come together to do this, but it but it is to be on one accord and for one purpose only -- to bring His Kingdom to pass.
It is easy to forget this as we spend so much time and energy in the church planning bowling get-togethers, family outings, and ministry meetings that attempt to create a church family in lieu of warriors for the Kingdom of God.
The Lord has be reminded me of this as he is requiring me to fully step in to all he created me to be. This may mean leaving those who move at a slower pace behind. He is teaching me that this does not have to be an emotionally painful situation that could but it can be extremely liberating for me and those around you. When you raise the standard by which to live for the Lord it inspires others to come up to new levels in their lives.
I've had the distinct feeling that I've been operating in second gear when the Lord requires me to operate in sixth gear and beyond. This means that I must operate at a higher frequency or resonance. This means that all excuses must leave my life.
This means that all areas of disobedience, dishonor, and hesitation no longer have space in my world. This means increasing the capacity to hold the good of the Lord in my life. This means being comfortable operating a level many believers will never experience. And all of this has to be okay.
The Word never promises that as you move into the fullness of your kingdom assignment that those around you will not become uncomfortable. It does promise that you will become a beacon of light that will draw men to the Lord. I have learned that I don't have to be frustrated or create an upset in my mind to give myself permission to move forward.
It is a new day. It is time to take off the brakes and move forward like you never have before. It is time to stop resisting the lives God has ordained that you impact. You are to help build the men and women of God. Elevate your belief and works so it becomes faith and don't look back. You may have to leave your church, your friends and sometimes even your family. Know that those who the Lord ordains to be in your life will make the shift with you.
Open up to all the good that God has for you. He desires above all things that you be in good health and prosper as your soul prospers 3 John 2).
In His Service,
Ericka
